Writer's Block: Year of the Ox

Happy Chinese New Year! The Year of the Ox starts today. What is your Chinese zodiac animal? Do you think you fit the description of the sign?

<input ... > View other answers

My Zodiac is the Horse and I looked it up too and found that some traits match me and some don't...

Personality
The Horse symbolizes such character traits as strength, energy, and an outgoing nature.
 - Okay?
Extremely animated, Horses thrive when they’re the centre of attention. - Hell no, I HATE being the centre of attention
Always in search of a good time, Horses keep the crowds happy with their humor and their wit. - That's happened before

Horses are extremely intelligent so they’re able to grasp new subjects with ease. *Rolls* I don't believe that's true.
They’re also capable of multi-tasking however they don’t always finish what they start because they’re forever chasing the next opportunity. Quite true. Okay very true XD
Horses are honest, friendly and open-minded. Indeed I believe I am :)
They’re perhaps a bit too centered on themselves and have been known to throw tantrums when situations don’t go their way. LMFAO *rolls* No. I don't centre on myself, ask my friends in Blackpool. I'm not just saying that!

Career
Horses enjoy positions in which they can interact with others. They aren’t fond of taking orders and they’ll run from jobs they consider routine. They’re able to grasp new subjects with ease making them capable of handling most any job. They’re effective communicators and they enjoy power. Good career choices for Horses include: publicist, sales representative, journalist, language instructor, translator, bartender, performer, tour operator, librarian or pilot.
I don't want to go into any of those careers... I suck at talking in group discussions (unless with friends) and in seminars and I do not enjoy power as proved in my 2nd year at college when I had to be team leader for a stupid skills building task. The only thing that is really right in that is that I hate taking orders :)

And because I was born in 1990 I am a Metal Horse - LOL

Free-spirited in every sense of the word, commitment is the easiest way to scare Metal Horses away. They prefer jumping from one relationship or job to the next. Because of this, Metal Horses make better friends than partners.
I do not prefer to jump from one relationship to the next. PROVED - Not been in a relationship for a very very very long time now.
That was fun :)

Oh and I found it funny that Horse doesn't get on with Rat or Monkey - my sister's Zodiac is the Monkey :) And we do get on lmfao!

Why on Earth

Do I always feel dizzy after reading a Clockwork Orange?
I need to lie down in the dark and listen to the rain lashing against my window.
Doctor

Scruffy

I'm sort of addicted to making these... This is the first time I've done it 'properly' using pins and cardboard and it's a bit small and tatty... But I think it's cute :) He's not finished, needs eyes and clothes :)

Viddy with your glazzies dear droogs.

'It's funny how the colours of the like real world only seem really real when you viddy them on the screen.'

A Clockwork Orange, a real like horrorshow read, only a malenky bit of the way into it though, full of the old in-out in-out and the starry Ultraviolence.
Doubt I'll be able to viddy the old sinny because of the strack scenes involving poor Alex's glazzies being held open and the sinnys he was forced to viddy. The
sinnys seem the types of thing to make my weak guttiwuts feel all bolnoy.
A recommended read my droogs that all should read, I've given myself a bolshy pain in the gulliver from reading in baddiwad light, even the old otchkies didn't help much.
If you want to pony this lingo I suggest you take yourselves here.

That is all my like horrorshow droogs. Many appy polly loggy for the bezoomy chatter.
Doctor

Everyone should kick start their day with this

Feel good music for the absolute win.

Don't even say it never made you dance in your seat!

(no subject)

Eurgh my thumb feels all weird from the dry SUPAHGLU. But I found a tutorial and made a string doll the PROPER way *grins* even though one arm turned out longer than the other and the head was egg shaped rather than round... But it was my first attempt *grins again*
I've also got a legless one, bless.
Time to go read A Clockwork Orange before I implode from not reading it
:D

Snow!

We have snow *massive grin* being the child that I am, got off the bus at an earlier stop just so I could walk in the snow before it stopped :D I looked like a snowman when I got in
Now I'm frozen though and starving, so I'm going to eat my Subway and babybel and watch that sad episode of Skins -probably- while crying into the seven Subway napkins I seem to have been given.

The stuff I hate

More creative ramblings like The stuff I like

I hate the way moisturiser feels between my fingers and I hate the fact I always have to wash it off. I don't like talking over the phone but I do like talking to people, I hate when predictive text gets my word wrong but I prefer to text over a call.
I don't like it when it rains because it messes with my hair but I kind of do like it because it feels nice on my skin and makes the air smell nice too. I hate it when there's nine hundred channels to choose from and never anything on, I really hate when I bite my lips because it makes them sore but at the same time I kinda can't stop doing it.
I hate writer's block because it makes me feel stupid, useless and frustrated and I don't like it when people overload on perfume or aftershave. I hate when a book, a film or a television programme makes me cry but at the same time I really like crying. I hate people who stand on street corners and harass everyone that passes, I don't like it when my friends cry and I hate when someone hurts them.
The noise of dogs barking goes right through me but I wouldn't trade mine for the world, I hate the fact my eyes are rubbish without my glasses and I hate the snide comments I received about them in year nine.
I hate men who fuck women over but I equally hate women who fuck men over.
I hate funerals.
I don't like being left out, but who doesn't? And I hate when I wake up in the morning and feel blank, empty, down for no reason at all and I despise when that feeling stretches out over a week then suddenly disappears only to return a few days later.
Sometimes I hate myself for no reason at all. I hate feeling physically sick from drinking but then not being able to vomit but I really like feeling drunk, I don't like drugs and what they do to people but I've done some before.
I hate relationships in general and I hate the fact I have low self esteem.
I hate songs that remind me of people I've lost but I love them more because they make me remember. I hate when my fingers go so cold they turn ice white and tingle painfully and I hate when the wind freezes my ears and gives me an infection in both. I hate it when my hearing sounds like I'm sat inside a bubble and I really despise it when I get water stuck in my ear.
I don't like feeling dizzy and I hate seeing red lights in front of my eyes. I don't like walking down the meat aisles in Tesco and I hate looking at dead fish. I don't like it when the news reports news that we couldn't care less about when there's other more important stuff going on in the world.
I hate when I don't make sense and I despise Valentines day. I don't like the fact I have no control over my emotions for him and I hate that that day seems to haunt me. I don't like having to wait for something to come around and I don't like it when I don't understand something. I don't like it when people talk behind my back and I hate when I think someone's talking about me behind my back.
But the thing I really hate is the word 'hate' because it's too strong a word to use, I like 'dislike' more.

The Patron Saint of Liars and Fakers (Fic)

Just a quick one, possibly two or three more chapters.
The title is from FOB because I'm on a high of them right now but I don't own it and I do not own the Boosh.

Warnings: Alot of swearing and a bit of smoking and soon some using. No slash though sorry, fluff later and I'll *consider* slash.
Summary: He's a wanker. a total twat, he cheats on his girlfriend more than once and thinks she'll come back everytime. This time she's through with it, as soon as she's gone he wants her back. Oh and did I mention there's a new student at the Sixth Form? Things get complicated.
It will be Howince, yeah lol. Naomi and Jenny are my own characters.
Set in a random Sixth Form, they're all 17/18 years old

But I still know the way to make your make-up run )

Why not?

I just listened/watched McFly on an MTV channel, five of their videos in a row. Quite surprised I didn't turn it off, nice to see they've grown up now though. Some of the lyrics in That Girl were odd lmfao

And I think I found myself a New Years Resolution - get a CD player and start buying CDs instead of downloading the odd track. (okay maybe that's two but there we go!)

OH and isn't the writer's block question of the day just ideal for us? XD

And a meme I stole from Hattie  )
